Your Life Flashed ...

This is a macro shot of a wild bird... yes I was about an inch away, and no it didn't fly off... I was actually on my way inside my house, walking about my font steps as my friend Rich pointed this out to me. We were both kind of confused because we could pet it and it wouldn't move. I got a few shots in, and then about 30 seconds later the bird started to convulse and it died, right there on the spot. As you could imagine me and rich were pretty confused at this point, but we didn't do anything to harm the bird, don't worry.

This is the last shot I took just before it died, the bird looks so dignified here... it seems that she/he knew he was dieing.
